If your having problems identifying which parts of your policy you need to
Fax to us, this section will help you.
When you apply for Courier Insurance and GIT Insurance you will be supplied
with 2 Certificates.
Each Certificate needs to be Faxed to us, and we only require these 2
certificates, please do not fax us your Insurance Schedules!!!!!!!
Courier Insurance Certificate:
The Courier Insurance Certificate will state : Certificate of Motor
Insurance and is the same Certificate that you would produce to the Post
Office when applying for your Road Tax. It will also State the Following...
It will have the Logo of the Insurance Company that is Insuring you (Not
your Brokers!)
It will state the words 'Certificate of Motor Insurance' Clearly Visible
at the top.
It will state the Certificate Number / Policy Number.
It will state your name, address and the vehicle you are driving.
It will state the Start and End DATE of the Insurance.
It will state who can drive the vehicle.
It will state in the 'Limitations as to Use' what the vehicle can be used
for.
It will state 'HIRE or REWARD'
It will be signed by the Insurance Company that Issued the Document.
If the word 'SCHEDULE' appears on your GIT Document, you need to Fax
the ENTIRE SCHEDULE, each page MUST have the Policy Number on it.
We need the Entire Schedule to enable us to identify the above points within the
Schedule.
